Suzie Althens narrates from her studio in Alaska. She tears herself away from stunning mountain views and enters her quiet booth to tell stories full of unique characters, places and times in both fiction and nonfiction. She might emulate some of her colorful neighbors when telling a story. When she isn't absorbed in storytelling, Suzie is an artist and gardener, battling mosquitoes and moose during the short Alaska summer.
