Meghan Tifft grew up in Los Angeles and Tucson, Arizona. She has an Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona and teaches writing at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, where she lives with her husband and her daughter. The Long Fire, her first book, was a finalist for the VCU Cabell First Novel Award, and was called “an unusual and striking novel” by Kirkus Reviews. Her second novel, From Hell to Breakfast, was called “a sharp, head-spinning story” by Publishers Weekly. Her work has also appeared in the literary journal, Fourteen Hills.
