Marie Madeleine MacLean
MarieMadeleine MacLean was born in Africa and grew up in Switzerland, where she graduated with degrees in History and Art. In addition to French, she speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. MarieMadeleine began a career in high fashion modeling in Paris at the age of seventeen. At age twenty-five she married Michael MacLean, the son of the famed international novelist, Alistair MacLean. A few years later, Ms. MacLean opened an international interior design firm based in Geneva, Switzerland. Her works have been featured numerous times in international interior design magazines. Ms. MacLean eventually sold her business to devote herself exclusively to writing. Ms. Maclean spends her time between California, Switzerland and the South of France.
