Jana Petken is an international award-winning and bestselling historical fiction author, known for her dark, gritty stories and colourful characters. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, but calls herself an eternal traveller. She is a military veteran, was a bodyguard for members of the Saudi Arabian royal family, and a cabin crew member on British Airways’ worldwide fleet. She currently resides in Spain, but says never say never on moving to another country in the future. When she’s not writing, she translates for British ex pats at the local hospital and takes long walks along the stunning coastline.
